was an ok movie.. not very good or bad... tho quite popular..

had its jumpy-in-the-dark moments.. i found the ending abit weird tho?

anyhoo.. this is about a virus that spread over new york. they closed the island off from the outside world as people started getting this contagious virus as it was an air born virus. the bridges to this island was cut off as the virus spread. (ie. blown up)

will smith plays the lone survivor in this movie as he trains himself to be fit and gathers foods, petrol etc by day and hides at home at night from these creatures that the virus has turned these infected humans into, that feed on flesh.

will smith hopes to find survivors as he feels he is alone in the world.

he tries to find a cure for this virus that was created by man.

u'll have to watch it to find out the ending urself :)

27 Dresses

a pretty good girly movie :D

the main character (pictured in poster) is a PA for her boss who she has a major crush on.
shes used to organising everything for everyone.

she has been a bridesmaid 27 times and always ends up being the person that organises the wedding for her friends.

her little sister is back in town who turns out to be interested in the main character's boss. they start going out and gets engaged which the main character isnt too happy about but being the nice person she is.. she backs down and watches her sister get together with her boss.

meanwhile the main character meets this guy at one of the weddings she was at and he starts to point out a few things and wonders why the main character never says no and go do her own thing instead of doing things for everyone else.

quite a good girly flick with its laughs.. and i reckon the 2 main guys are hot ;) hehe

wont ruin the ending so watch it urself :P

The Golden Compass

I've been wanting to watch this since i saw the trailer.

Lots of really good 3d graphics and a sci fi story about a girl who has the power to see the truth through the Golden Compass.

I dont want to ruin the story but it has interesting concepts for scifi about parallel worlds and worlds similar but different to ours.

hmm maybe i'll get the book too...

a melbourne christmas

a funky knife set my friend sold at their shop hehe.. i reckon its cute.. in a painful way :P

bought one for my friend who has this kind of quirky sense of humour :P hehe



for our christmas bbq, my friend tried to cook some simple stuff..
was edible :P

christmas with my friends family was funny :) they had 2 kids so we were mucking around with the kids.. i ended up making their lego robots for them.. to which they took apart the next day and told me so.. =_="



our host was dressed up for the bbq :P full leather shoes .. work pants and black attire :P lol



melbourne in my friends area seemed to be quite open with large spaces.. we werent that far from the city but there was alot of country side during our drives





spent christmas dinner at my friends bfs parents holiday house :)

never had a greek christmas before :P heaps of food.. i got to try abit of everything for dinner :)

Macau: a longer tour - then back to hk

a keroro toy made up of 5 seperate toys put together!!! looked so cool in the window.. but yea.. some of the characters are already sold out :( my friend went around looking for the whole set for her son... pretty cool :D

went to one of those dessert fast food places to rest between our shopping trips :P

really heavy.. good thing we could borrow a trolley to roll em to the nearest post office hehe

went to this little icecream place in macau..



they had these 'ice cream sandwiches' wasnt all that :P but interesting none the less



they had some warner brothers store in macau towers which we had a look around in

you can do the skyjump there.. pretty much like a bungee but they have cables on either side of you to control the fall ... looked pretty scary @_@




they also had a toys 'r us at macau tower where we had a look around

some thai temple in macau

some small macau streets with food stores etc.. quite an old town i think.. we tried some of their jelly too which was nice.. quite different to the ones u get in oz.

we had brunch at this place like noodles or toast etc.. they are well known for their pork buns which were only available at a certain time.. like after 3pm.. u shoulda seen the people turn up around 2.30pm waiting for these bun things.. @_@

late night dessert.. i had some black seasame thing.. friends had some penut one..

the venetian again.. for a friend that wasnt with us the 1st time around and had a quick tour

a well known restaurant that looked quite shabby but is really popular.. had to book or something to get in.. we didnt book but just got in.. was quite a salty meal :P

went around this touristy area with alot of massive structures that were designed to look like they were from other countries or olden times.. really nice architecture :)

alot of them were still in development tho..

lots of hotels.. i reckon it would be quite a good place to walk around n take pics once its all done.. really large area to attract tourists.

the view behind the famouse macau structure.. u can walk up the back of it and take pics from behind the structure too and look thru the windows :)
