Thredbo Week

Snow trip time!!

took a week off and spent a week in jindy.

The studio apartment was nice.. plenty of heaters with drying areas for our snow gear also.
fit in a bunk and a king bed so there was room for 5.

we went with another couple to share the accomodation costs.

to keep the costs down we bought our own food to cook and bought coke/lollies/sandwiches to the slopes for lunch.

So i was taken up the slopes and lead around.. not bad for a beginner :D
the chairlifts are pretty scary to me =_= and it was pretty windy/snowy the whole time we were there.

went up to the cruiser area.. green runs.. then moved across to take the blue run and green run all the way back down to near where we parked around the beginners slopes.

the guys tried some tricks on the box :D lol
we had the cube as our snow mobile to move us as well as our gear.. just fit ;) hehe
got lots of stares as the cube is an unusual looking car and its not very common right now hehe..

ended the last night on the slopes with a nice brazilian meat bbq buffet.. :P
interestingly saw some live kangaroos on the side of the road when we drove to the dinner place in threadbo @_@ those animals are huge looking even from the car..

on the way back to sydney we stopped over in canberra for lunch.. note to self.. never go canberra on sundays.. seriously.. nothing opens on sunday there... =___=

we eventually found a nice pancake place to eat tho :)

thats just a veeeeeeery short summary of wat happened.. but yea.. u get the idea :P

was a cold/windy/snowy week.. but still had fun.. i guess it was less scary for me at the end :)
though i still cant do turns on my snowboard :P
