kitty update

Milo is about 2.5months old now :)

hes jumping onto chairs.. climbing blinds.. running and hiding under shelves

hard kitty to find sometimes..

we have to send the mum in to find him when he goes missing

they spent yesterday indoors since it was raining nonstop for hours.

both cats still wrestle each other in their spare time :P

kitty update

Its been thunderstormy lately for weeks at a time.

so the cats have been living indoors in the evenings in the spare toilet :)

the cats seem to love dark small places.. so i have used the cat carrier as a little cat cave for them to feel safer.

lilly (the mum) purrs in the cat cave alot  hehe

sometimes the kitten (milo) goes nuts playing and running and jumping all over the place.. so lilli sits somewhere away from the kitten and watches hehe

 kitty looking slimmer and growing up :( hes getting fast too.. :P

random banana tree in backyard that has bananas :D

not sure if theyre edible.. or if they'l get any bigger...

the cats use it as a scratching post.. ive seen both cats climb up the tree too =____=

i helped a friend with their airbrushing makeup course

they got to practice some makeup experimenting as well as using them to do temporary tattoos

can you tell they're random :P

kitty post

we took the kitten to the vet last week to get the vaccine shots and check up

we have decided to name the kitten Milo hehe

i got it from Milo and Otis randomly :)

turns out the kitten is a boy....

and he is healthy at 2 months of age with a few fleas which were easy to take care of :)

hes starting to look abit thinner as he's growing.. but yea hes still got his milk belly :P

he sticks to his mum alot more now too. follows and copies mum everywhere hehe

hes able to jump pretty high and far now too @_@ he can jump a foot in length

across the garden and such :P

hes learnt to climb up the flyscreen door too...

we can see where some places on the screen has ripped...

invitation

My best friend is getting married in May

we spent last weekend putting the invitations together.

there was some trial and error to get the invitations looking/rolling ok on paper :P

pretty cool invites i must say :)

the cylinders and scrolls were imported from china

we removed the original paper on the scroll and attached the invitiations.

Balloon

Came across some hot air balloons on the way to work few days ago...

more kitty updates

kitten is 8 weeks old now :)

shes getting thinner and the rest of her body is catching up to her size

she still has a belly though hehe

she also has a thing for shoes :P

mother cat got desexed recently..

turned out she was pregnant at the time too @_@

poor mother cat wasnt used to travel by car and freaked out.

we had her in a friends borrowed pet carry bag which she tore a hole in the mesh

in order to get out. poor thing lost a few claws there too :(

she spent the rest of the ride to the vet on my fiance's lap rubbing her head on his face heeheh

marking her territory :P

so i bought a replacement bag for my friend since we wrecked her borrowed one :(

 cute bag too :)

her cat loves it also hehe.. new dark little house for her



Macaron Attempt 3

From the baking class few weekends back:

slight feet on macaron though still a flat macaron

my weekend attempt

still flat n lumpy :(

i put in abit of red colouring to get the peach colour

i didnt have enough cream to do the filling either :(

and it was pouring with rain at the time so i didnt go out to buy more

no feet on these macarons.. flattish too

i think i need to whip the eggs longer

i still find them very sweet to eat

so i wont be attempting to make them too often

still love the texture of them though :)

looks like kitty is growing up

she looks more slim and long legged

not so short n wobbly with big body hehe

shes starting to be able to jump pretty  high/far

still quite scratchy n bitey :P

shes eating mushy wet food

and knows how to use the kitty litter

somehow she finds a way out of her pen =\

not sure how she does that yet
