Easter weekend last bit

Had a look in McGuigans wines where the cheese factory is next door

check out the cheeese, its more of a cheese shop as there were soo many people around ther wasnt any tours

went across the road for lunch, jam packed area with tour busses.

so we had our lunch out on the grass as a picnic :)

Then headed back to sydney

Easter weekend continued

we arrived at our serviced Quest appartment in singleton.

Fairly nice people and service though there was no housekeeping for the long weekend due to the public holidays. we didnt have trouble asking reception for more towels and salt/pepper etc though so it wasnt too bad.


our 3 bedder apartment came with complimentary bottle of wine and easter eggs :)


we stopped at random vineyard to take pics :P not really fenced off hehe

checked out the markets on sunday, lots of jewellery, home made honey/soap/alcohol on sale.

we tried to get to St Clair lake for some fishing... unfortunately there was no tackle/bait shops at all :( though the brochure showed people fishing at the lake

nice lake though.. but the recreational area was mainly for campers with tents and some brought their own boats to go out to fish in the lake.. so we had to make do with just a picnic at the lake instead of fishing :(

wine tasting at randomly picked winery, free tasting of the sweet wines and dessert wines :) yum hehe

me friends bought a few bottles of sweet wines that were nice

Hunter Valley Easter Weekend

About a 3 hour drive from sydney, first stop was the beer brewery tour:

you can see the distilation and mixing containers where they make the beer

the different malts and hopps to make the beer

the beer comes in bigger glass bottles which work out cheaper and easier for them to fill then to have 6 pack cans which are smaller and more expensive to sell.

1o different types of beer flavours on tap.

the kolsh light beer, pretty nice and light

chocolate beer :D

more movies

spent 2 days of my easter long weekend indoors watching movies/tv :P was rainy the whole time anyway hehe

intriguing though slightly scary looking movie poster :P
about how vampires are the normal every day species and humans are farmed for blood. they do run out of humans though so it becomes an epidemic where vampires go feral for blood.
vampire scientists searching for a blood substitute while human blood runs low, though there may be a cure for this epidemic.


happened to see the 2nd half of this on tv, about how a gorgeous smart and rich blond falls for the geeky looking guy.. most tell him how she is out of his league and how did he end up with such a hottie.
in the end its mostly his self confidence and self sabotage that ruins a perfect relationship. happy ending of course :P

Cute family/kids movie where jackie chan is a spy hiding out in the house next door. he falls in love with the mother of 3 kids which is his neighbour but he has to find a way to get the kids to like him also.

Jay Chou!!! didnt really like the dumb main character.. made it lame.. but jay chou did pretty well for a non english speaker :D mad gadgets and martial arts.. thats about it :P

cute typical disney romance for kids.. interesting story of repunzel.. cute horse too hehe.. acts like a dog :P

weird ass jap storyline.. gets gory with heads/aliens being blown up.. but yea i already knew bout this story line since i read the manga before.. but its pretty dark/gory so i didnt really read much of the manga

Definately an unusual fantasy movie, quite dark and goth like but also interesting in its uniqueness.

Nail polish phase

ordered some nail polishes since our exchange rate is so goood :D and its cheaper then buying it from shops here ... ie $15 for 1 bottle or somethign crazy @_@

cant wait to try the holos :D which are the colourclub ones.. will do swatches once i get them :)

its been just over a week for postage (including weekends) so i should receive them tomorrow ^______^

Big Mamas : like father like son

Whilst dad was in a middle of an undercover opperation, his son happened to see and be seen by the bad guy who shot someone in front of the son.

so both father and son go undercover in an all girls arts academy whilst finding out where the hidden usb hd may be hidden which held all the data for the dads case.

some great music and funny moments as 2 guys try to get along with female teenages.
