Heartbreak Ridge

Paintballl or skirmish as some call it ^_________^

Had a work 'Team Building' Event where around 60 of us went to paintball.. mostly engineers with a few managers.

got a bit hot near the afternoon but heaps of fun :D

i got some mega bruises to show off as battle scars ^_^

all big purple circular ones =\ i think they were quite close range shots...

for one of the fields we had to capture the flag.. and i got it ~!~!~!~!~!~!~ ehehhe weeee

one dude.. i think it was his first time.. he went with a puffy jacket under his paintball gear.. as well as gumboots.... i dunno how he can run in those in the 30 degree heat during the afternoon =\ crazy...

Justin Timberlake Concert

Seating we got wasn't too bad.

The stage was round so the whole arena was used seating wise.

There was a section called the 'sexyback lounge' which is pretty much a fenced off, with red carpet standing area touching the stage.. the people in there could lean on the stage!

Then there was the 2nd fenced area around the sexy back lounge which was the mosh pit.

Then the first tier of seating which i was on, then it went higher up and further towards the roof.

Compared to the other 2 concerts i went to this was slightly different which was good to see :D

JT actually sat n talked to the crowd for abit.. told us stories.. more dancing n dancers.. the songs he sang were cut down alot tho.. i guess he has alot of songs he wanted to sing :)

they had screens which projected close ups of JT singing etc, one part of it he was holding a camera facing himself so it projected his face on the screen and he turned the camera around etc wen he was singing :D pretty cool

The Killers Concert

we were seated quite far this time :( was like the 4th row down from the roof top pretty much..

other then that it was alright.. :D i didnt know half the songs but was fun singing to the ones i did know ^__^

was funny watching my friends jump around too hehehe...

there was alot of glitter dropped onto the mosh pit section :D

Resident Evil : Extinction

Was quite an okay movie :D lots of bloody n zombie moments, and sudden make you jump scenes =\ main character is very cool with the fighting n all that.

i dont really remember the 2nd movie.. i sort of remember the first one.. i think this is the third one?

it ended in a way that it could still be continued but yea, good storyline too.

Melbourne

Had to go melbourne for work training for 2 days.. had to get up before sunrise to get the first flight down in order to make it there on time =_=" never had to wake up at 5am before....

Traveling time was long.. well not that long.. but it felt long.. flight was quick but the taxi ride to the office was just as long.. things seem to be so spaced apart in melb.

Stayed at the above hotel.. very nice rooms :D interesting tho, it had this plaza attached to the hotel right next door with some restaurants, cafe n cinemas.. really good location :D

There were more restaurants, cafes and small asian supermarkets behind the hotel too.. whole street of it.





Got to catch up with an old uni friend i hadnt seen in years ^_________^ very happy about that..

they took me to Chadstone shoping center which is one of the bigger westfields or something :D did some shopping and had dinner hehe..
must go back to shop :P

may need to go to melb again for work .. cant wait to see my friend again :)

Skill testers in Japan

Japan has all the cool stuff. Just look at this photo. Number one, this is a crane game but instead of a crane, you have a robot. When you insert your hard earned money, instead of 2 or 3 tries to grab something, you control the robot in a race against the clock. How freakin' awesome is that?

Linkin Park & Chris Cornell

Linkin Park Concert *girly scream*

first hour wasnt as fun since i dont know who the Chris Cornell dude was.. but everyone recognised his song for the newest James Bond movie.

Linkin Park was reaaaaally good.. was surprised i knew most of the songs :D

was fun at the end as they played all their well known songs.. very headbanging hehe..

also very loud for my poor ears =\

there was a massive mexican wave going around during intermission around the audience heheh

ive got Linkin Park playing in my car now :P very good songs for when you're angry i reckon :D
